Instalasi Packet Tracer 5.1 Di Ubuntu

Wew.. ada barang baru euy di Cisco, Packet Tracer 5.1. Wah asik nih, Cisco nyediain 2 versi : versi for Windows dan versi for Linux. Yang versi Linux pun tersedia 3 packet, ada packet untuk Ubuntu, Fedora, dan General. Packet Linux General diperuntukkan bagi Linux distributions with kernel versions 2.6 and above.

Berhubung gw pake nya Ubuntu, jadi gw dokumentasiin instalasi packet tracer for Ubuntu saja :)

Berikut ini step by step nya :
1. Download dulu packet tracertnya di websitenya Cisco. Gw download packet + tutorialnya, nama file nya PacketTracer51_i386_installer-deb.bin
2. Truz ganti permission file nya.

chmod 755 PacketTracer51_i386_installer-deb.bin

3. Setelah itu ekstrak dan instal packet nya.

./PacketTracer51_i386_installer-deb.bin

4. Baca dulu EULAnya ya tekan enter saja, terus tekan spasi sampai muncul pertanyaan.

5. Tekan Y kemudian enter tunggu hingga proses instalasi selesai.
6. Kalo dah selesai instalasinya, cara jalanin packet tracert nya masuk di Applications -> Internet -> Packet Tracert 5.1.

Gampang kan instalasinya?? Yuhuuu.. senengnya bisa jalanin Packet Tracert di Ubuntu, mau belajar Cisco ga da masalah lagi hayhayhay :)

      hehehe sekalian dokumentasi gw mam, kebetulan bandwith simatupeng kuenceng bner, asik deh… dari tadi gw download melulu, jadi bersemangat mendokumentasiin hasil jajalan gw gituh :D

      mudah2an ga semangat diawal deh ^__^v
